Ev and I went to Seattle to visit Evan Sr. It was SO beautiful the whole time we were there. It was in the 70's and sunny and we were able to do a lot of things outside because of that. The first day we went to Alki Beach and went to a Thai restaurant that was fantastic. Day two: we went on a ferry from Seattle to Windslow (one of my new favorite towns), to a lighthouse on a beach called Point no Point, to Ev's hometown of Kingston, and met Ev's aunt Leslie in Edmonds. Day three: Pikes place market, shopping downtown, and Star Trek movie (AWESOME!). Day four: Snoqualmie falls (really beautiful falls), and Lake Washington area to admire the beautiful homes and pretty beaches. Day five: Folkfest in the fairgrounds below the space needle (to admire the hippies and festive music), went to the fisherman's wharf to partake in fishy goodness, and then the Locks to see the ships move from Puget Sound to Lake Washington and the salmon ladder. Overall it was a very rad trip and Evan Sr. was a very generous host to us! We are big fans of Seattle.
