Thanksgiving!

Were we crazy to take our four-week-old eight hours through desolate Wyoming to get to my aunt and uncle's house in Fort Collins? Some thought so (mostly my dad), but it was totally worth it!

All the Archer kids made the trek to Colorado in order to have a festive Thanksgiving with the Moore clan and Granny. Adelaide did surprisingly well on the car ride and charmed her way into her aunt and great grandmother's hearts in the first few minutes of getting to know them (it was easy... they already knew they'd love her before they even met her).

I love how crazy and chaotic my family is getting with all of the new additions. It was awesome to see little Joby. Even though he's only five days younger than Adelaide, she looked like she could eat him. It was so nice to hold such a little fellow and he doesn't cry... just deeply grunts. He also looks like he is staring into my soul whenever he looks at me. All the Archer kids are super awesome and I love being an aunt to such BEAUTIFUL, amazing kiddos. I just hope Cru forgives me for slapping him after he bit me.

Aunt B spoiled us with all of her love and wonderful food. It was fantastic to be with all of the Moores and my sweet granny for the holidays.

Adelaide update:
Adelaide had her one-month celebration while we were in Colorado (it consisted of me saying loudly to her, "Yay! You are a one-month-old today"), and she is doing great. At her two week appointment she had already gained two pounds from her birth weight. I like my girl chunky.
